A man who was about to start a new chapter in his life mysteriously disappeared when he stopped in Redding. 34-year-old Anthony Richards was engaged to be married. He dropped off his fiance at the Sacramento Airport on August 19th so she could fly home to New York. Anthony’s plan was to go visit family in Eureka before making the drive to New York to live with his fiance. On August 20th he visited the boat ramp at Lake Redding Park for unknown reasons. It’s not known what happened there, but he has not been heard from since. Anthony is a white man, 5-foot-10 and 120 pounds with black hair and hazel eyes.
