Redding’s Neighborhood Police Unit showed up at an East Redding apartment to do a parole search Tuesday, and they say when they knocked on the door the residents started throwing drugs out a back upstairs bedroom window. When they gained entry to the apartment on Wilshire Drive, officers arrested 31-year-old Nicholas Williams and 31-year-old Sara Reed. Heroin, Methamphetamine and various paraphernalia was reportedly recovered from a field next to the apartments. Williams faces additional felony charges after allegedly trying to smuggle Heroin into the jail.
