APD: Woman Offers Meth To Teen Girl

A woman was arrested in Anderson after reportedly offering Methamphetmine to an underage girl, according to Anderson Police. Officers were called to the North Street Bridge at about 7PM after receiving a report that 55-year-old Sandra Bradford was offering Meth to the girl. The girl said that Bradford had asked if she had “tried Meth yet” and that she would give some to the 15-year-old girl. Officers located Bradford and two men. Bradford apparently denied being in possession of Meth or offering it to the girl. She claimed that she was only telling the girl about the dangers of using the drug, although the two adult males corroborated the juvenile’s statement. Officers reportedly found a small bag of Meth and a pipe on the ground near where Bradford was sitting. While officers were investigating a vehicle pulled up to the area at a high speed and stopped about 20 feet away from the officers vehicles. Officers quickly identified the driver as 36-year-old Amanda Pickrell of Anderson, who is well known to the Anderson Police Department. A records check showed Pickrell with an expired driver’s license, 2 felony warrants, and 2 misdemeanor warrants for her arrest. She was also found to be in possession of a Methamphetamine smoking pipe. Both Pickrell and Bradford were arrested.
