Shasta County added 4 new COVID-19 cases Wednesday for a total of 515. The new patients include a girl under the age of 13, a man and a woman in their 20’s, and a man in his 40’s. All 3 have symptoms. There are 32 active cases. 5 patients are hospitalized, four of them in intensive care. 11 Shasta County residents have died of the virus. 187 people are quarantined due to possible exposure.
Butte County has reported 42 more cases for a total of 1,463 cases and 2 more fatalities for a total of 14. Trinity County has had 8 cases. Tehama County has had 330 with one death. Glenn County has had 421 cases with 3 deaths. Lassen County has had 78 cases in the community, in addition to 625 in the prison population. There have been 114 in Siskiyou County and 320 in Humboldt County with 4 deaths. Modoc County has had 5 cases and all have recovered.
