Anyone wishing to run for public office on the November 3rd ballot needs to get their paperwork in to the Shasta County Elections Office by the end of the day Friday. Applications are on the office’s website at elections.co.shasta.ca.us. The November ballot will decide the President, the District One Congressional Seat, the District One State Senate Seat, the District One State Assembly Seat, Shasta County Board of Supervisors District 4, some seats on the city councils for Redding, Anderson and Shasta Lake, as well as dozens of school districts and special service districts.
