Shasta County has reported a dozen new cases of Coronavirus, 9 of whom have symptoms and range in age from their 20’s to their 70’s. That brings the county total to 360. The ninth death was reported on Wednesday. There are 46 active cases. 8 people are hospitalized, three of them in intensive care. 274 people are quarantined due to possible exposure.
Butte County, which is on the state watch list, reported another 24 cases, bringing their total to 907 with 7 deaths. Tehama County has had 13 new cases in two days for a total of 227 with one death. Trinity County reported a 5th case Thursday. Glenn County is on the state watch list, with 315 cases and one death. Lassen County has had 59 cases in the community, in addition to 572 in the prison population. Siskiyou County has had 71. There have been 228 in Humboldt County with 4 deaths. Modoc County reported its first two cases this week, both of them in the same household.
