A man apparently said he started an arson fire near Turtle Bay because he was bored. At around 2:40AM Sunday morning Redding Firefighters were called to the area of the Turtle Bay Gardens, where they extinguished a fire along the trail that had burned about a quarter acre. Security guards at Turtle Bay detained a man until fire investigators got there and interrogated him. He told them he was high and he was bored so he decided to light a fire. He was booked into jail for felony arson.
