Two separate fires threatened homes and forced evacuation orders in Butte County Monday. The Ida Fire is in the Kelley Ridge Area off Mount Ida Road. It was spotting badly last night ahead of control lines and Cal-Fire called for evacuations in the Oaks Subdivision. Those orders were soon downgraded and by 9 O’clock the warnings had been lifted and the fire was contained at 11 acres. The other fire is the Robinson Fire in the Robinson Mill area northeast of Bangor. It prompted evacuation warnings Monday afternoon as it threatened structures. Forward progress was halted at around 5PM. Tuesday morning Cal-Fire is calling it 50% contained at 33 acres.
