Two people are dead after a shooting in Shingletown and the alleged suspect is being sought by the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office. At 11AM on Saturday morning deputies were called to a 27325 Gail Lane after receiving a report of a shooting. 3 victims were found at the travel trailer and two were found deceased. A third person was taken to the hospital and is currently in critical condition. The Shasta County Sheriff’s Office has identified the shooter as 35-year-old Duan Eric Sanders. The SWAT Team and Redding Police responded and searched the property, but Sanders was not located. He apparently fled in a dark colored pickup truck before the arrival of deputies. Authorities say that Sanders in considered armed and dangerous, and the public is urged not to confront him . The three victims have not yet been identified. The Shasta County Sheriffs Office Major Crimes unit is the lead investigating agency.
