A census caravan parade will be held Friday in Redding and Saturday in Anderson to encourage participation in the once-a-decade survey. Organized by the Shasta Regional Community Foundation, Shasta Interfaith and the Sikh Center, the events will feature free pizza and other food, as well as gifts for children. People are encouraged to meet up and then drive their cars in the parade caravan. Friday’s event begins at Redding City Hall at 3 O’clock. Saturday’s event begins at Meadow Lane School on Balls Ferry Road at 3 O’clock.
