RPD Drone Helps Officers Rescue Teen Who Fell Down Cliff

A teenager was rescued after falling off the bluffs in Redding early Sunday morning. Redding Police were called at 2AM to the end of Palisades Avenue off Hilltop Drive. Several teenagers were hanging out on the Bluffs when one of them climbed over a fence and fell down the cliff. He landed about a hundred feet down on the bank of the river. The RPD used a drone to locate him and he was retrieved by Shasta County Sheriff’s Boating Deputies and then transported to a hospital for his injuries.
