It was a very good year for the fifth annual Northstate Giving Tuesday. The one day charitable donation blitz had been increasing every year until it peaked at more than a Million Dollars in 2017. $870,000 was raised last year. Tuesday landed in the middle with 6,126 donations totaling $919,266 there were 178 beneficiaries, with Siskiyou County organizations coming out on top. The Boys and Girls Club of the Siskiyous took in more than $64,000, followed by the Mount Shasta Museum Association at over $50,000. Save the Rain, which helps African people with clean water, came in third and Siskiyou Land Trust was at number 4.
