A fire that started early Sunday afternoon very close to the previous Red Bank fire southwest of Red Bluff has grown. The “Ranch Fire” has burned more than 750 acres of mostly heavy timber with 15% containment as of Monday afternoon. It started in a remote area of Tehama County near Colyer Springs Road and Raglin Ridge Road. Evacuation warnings have been issued for cabins and other structures extending to the Mendocino National Forest boundary.
