The vast majority of PG&E customers who were shut off in the most recent wind event have finally had their power restored, but not all of them. About 1200 outages remain in place in Sonoma and Lake Counties because of the Kincade Fire. There are also some in Nevada County and Butte County, as well a couple of customers in Shasta County between Montgomery Creek and Big Bend. PG&E says the remaining outages are due to windstorm damage to equipment that needs to be repaired. 156 instances of weather-related damage occurred during the last two shutoffs. Gusts of over 70 miles an hour were recorded in Butte County, and over 100 miles an hour in Sonoma County.
