The Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office is reporting another pot bust from Friday, this one conducted by a multi-agency task force led by the State Department of Justice. A raid was done on three large greenhouses on a parcel of land off Highway 89 near Mount Shasta. 1,556 growing plants were seized, along with 147 pounds of processed bud. Two grams of Meth was found in vehicles parked at the site. When the team arrived, several people took off running into the woods. Eventually six men were booked into jail. Sheriff Jon Lopey says the men are members of a foreign drug trafficking organization.
