The identity of man found dead in a Bechelli Lane house on July 23rd has been released. The Shasta County Coroner’s Office said the victim was 37-year-old Steven Michael Johnson of Redding. His next-of-kin has been notified and an autopsy has been completed. Several people reportedly lived at the house, including Russell Hunt, who’s run for several local political offices. This case is under investigation by the Redding Police Department as a possible homicide.
