A lot of pot was seized during a series of multi-agency raids of unlicensed cannabis operations in Southern Trinity County last week. A three day action starting on Thursday involved a number of federal, state and Trinity County law enforcement agencies. 15 search warrants were served on 1500 acres of private properties that all neighbor each other. 66,902 growing plants were seized, along with 3,525 pounds of processed bud and 2 pounds of butane honey oil. Also taken were 2,300 pounds of fertilizer and 3 guns. 15 people were detained, but the only arrest was Jesus Moreno of Victorville. He’s charged with 16 environmental crimes.
