A wanted felon was captured by Redding Police after he apparently ran from officers Sunday afternoon. Officer Williams and spotted 42-year-old Leo Graham in the area of South Bonnview and Bechelli Lane. The officer had previously contacted Williams and knew he had a felony warrant out for his arrest. Graham apparently refused the officers commands and fled into a nearby wooded area. A CHP helicopter was called to assist officers as they searched the area. Officers Williams deployed his K9 Otto, who led them to some bushes where Graham was trying to hide. Graham refused to come out and apparently tried reaching into a bag he was carrying. Otto was sent into the bushes and helped officers arrest Graham. Officers say Graham had secreted himself during the incident and after being cleared at a local hospital he was booked into Shasta County Jail.
