More than 1600 REU Customers lost power Sunday morning after a vehicle hit a power pole on Shasta View Drive near Wilson Avenue. The vehicle hit with such force that it sheared the pole off at the base. Shasta View Drive remained closed until late Monday night while crews replaced the pole. As of this morning power has been restored, but several businesses are reporting that they have no debit or credit card service.
