Five arrests were made after a probation search Tuesday at a home in the City of Shasta Lake. Deputies say they had gotten numerous complaints about high vehicle and foot traffic at the Vassar Way house. They reported finding remnants of drugs, along with a scale and paraphernalia. The five people, ranging in age from 18 to 37, were booked on charges including possession of paraphernalia and maintaining a place where drugs are used. Shasta Lake Code Enforcement red tagged the house as unsafe to occupy after finding decrepit conditions.
