Many more salmon have returned to Northern California rivers this year compared to last year, meaning a much improved allowance for anglers. Fishery scientists say around 380,000 spawning Sacramento River fall-run Chinook will allow for a 2 salmon daily limit starting August first below the Deschutes Road Bridge and above the Red Bluff diversion dam. The Klamath and Trinity Rivers will also have a 2-salmon daily limit. All the rules and details are posted on the C-D-F-W website, https://www.wildlife.ca.gov/
