Burn Season Continues

Because of the volume of downed trees and branches from the February 12th snow storm, burn season continues for now. Residents in the City of Redding and Buckeye Fire Protection District can still burn, with a permit, until fire season is officially declared. The normal end date is April 30th. It’s unknown how much longer residential backyard burning will be allowed. The burn day information is updated at 9:15 AM each day at 224-8777. A free permit can be found online at reddingfire.org
