Homeless Wheelchair Bound Man Found Dead

A homeless man who had been suffering in the rain over the past few months has died. Apparently named “Marcus”, the elderly wheelchair-bound man had both legs amputated. He had made his home on the sidewalk along Cypress Avenue in the area of the Downtown Safeway and was frequently seen in that area, unprotected from the weather. On Sunday morning the man’s body was found slumped over from his wheelchair at the southern tip of the LuLu’s Restaurant parking lot.
