Lockdowns Lifted As Police Resolve Situation In Garden Tract

Two schools, Sequoia and Cypress Elementary, were on lockdown for a time Thursday while Redding Police responded to a situation near South Street and Canal Drive. The department assured neighbors and the schools that there was no danger to the public. As of 12:45PM, they reported the situation had been resolved and turned over to the Shasta County Coroner’s Office. No further information has been released.
