The Safeway Gas Station in Anderson was robbed Saturday morning. The gas station is located on Balls Ferry Road directly across the street from the Safeway Supermarket. Anderson Police tell us the robber entered the store at around 5AM and demanded money. The clerk complied and the robber got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. He was apparently wearing a mask. It’s not known if a weapon was seen. Investigators are trying to learn more by reviewing video surveillance in the area.
