Five teenagers were injured in a crash in Tehama County Thursday night. Four girls and a boy ranging in age from 13 to 17 were in a Nissan Sentra on Reeds Creek Road west of Red Bluff at 40 to 50 miles an hour when the driver lost control on a curve and spun into an Oak Tree. The tree intruded about two feet into the passenger compartment, trapping three of the teens, who needed to be extricated and transported to hospitals. Most of the injuries were complaints of pain, but there were broken bones as well, according to the CHP. All 5 were wearing seatbelts.
