A Redding man has been sent to prison for burglary. In January of last year Shadoe River Sanders went into a house on Greenstone Place, off Foothill Boulevard in West Redding. He was confronted by the homeowners and fled with their house keys and garage door openers. About an hour and a half later a Redding Police Officer spotted Sanders walking back toward the house carrying a grocery bag and a three foot long metal bar. At the time of his arrest, Sanders was on felony probation from two other convictions. His three day trial in January ended with guilty verdicts. On Monday Sanders was given the maximum sentence of 8 years 4 months in state prison.
