Redding Firefighters had to deal with three separate vegetation fires early Monday morning near the Clear Creek Bridge over Highway 273. A little before 3AM firefighters were called to the area. Two fires were on the west side of the highway, one of them about 30 by 30 feet, and the other one involving an REU power pole. The third fire was south of the bridge, about 25 by 25 feet in very thick brush, and appeared to originate from a homeless camp. All three were human caused, but it’s unclear if they were related.
