Two brothers from Corning have been sentenced for stabbing a man. One morning in December of last year the victim was on his way to work when he stopped at a Jack-In-The-Box and a liquor store on Highway 99-W in Corning. He had an ongoing family dispute with 25-year-old Juliano Vito Acuna and 28-year-old Santino Acuna. The two brothers attacked the victim, stabbing him multiple times and inflicting life-threatening wounds. Both Acuna brothers were eventually captured. Santino has been found guilty of felony assault and sentenced to 6 months in jail and 3 years probation. Juliano has been found guilty of felony assault with a deadly weapon with special allegations. He’s been sentenced to 7 years in state prison.
