Deputies were called at around 11:30 to a home on Urban Lane, which is several miles west of Red Bluff. They found 55-year-old Michael Paul Jones deceased. An autopsy performed Monday confirmed that Jones died as a result of multiple stab wounds to the chest. The suspected killer is 33-year-old Jacob Daniel Oropeza.
