An Anderson man wanted for child molestation has been captured in the Bella Vista area. 40-year-old Melvin Love has had sheriff’s detectives and district attorney investigators actively looking for him for the last several weeks. Already a registered sex offender, Love had a One Million Dollar arrest warrant for two counts of lewd and lascivious acts against a child under the age of 14. A break in the manhunt came Wednesday when major crimes detectives learned that Love had been staying at an address on Intermountain Road. The house was surrounded by detectives, deputies and a CHP helicopter, and then Love was ordered to come outside. After about 5 minutes he surrendered without a struggle. Arraignment is set for Thursday afternoon.
