Residents of the City of Mount Shasta no longer need to boil their water before drinking it, according to tests conducted by Siskiyou County and state water and health agencies. During routine tests on Friday a sample was found to contain E. Coli bacteria and it was traced to a spring source. Testing now shows the water to be clean and safe.
