A West Redding house was damaged by fire Saturday. Redding Firefighters were sent to a house on North Street at Walnut. They arrived to find a fire burning in the attic. It was quickly contained and eventually extinguished after causing moderate amount of damage to the home’s interior. The three residents were able to safely evacuate the house, though fire investigator Patrick O’Connor says there were no working smoke alarms. One firefighter was taken to a hospital for evaluation.
