Three people in the City of Shasta Lake were arrested on suspicion of burglary thanks to an alert neighbor. At 6 O’clock Thursday night deputies were sent to a house on Yellow Pine Road. Someone had reported a suspicious vehicle was in the woods behind the house and people were walking around the backyard, although nobody was supposed to be there. When deputies arrived they surrounded the house and then saw two men walking out the open back slider door. 20-year-old Anthony Falin and 28-year-old Ryan Falin were taken into custody, along with 21-year-old Liberty Smith, who was hiding on the back porch.
