A jury has found a Redding man guilty in the stabbing death of another man to death. In the afternoon of April 23rd of last year, 28-year-old Pete Jeppesen was found on the ground in front of an Akard Avenue apartment complex suffering from a stab wound. He died a short time later at the hospital. Officers learned Jeppesen had been in a fight with 37-year-old Morgan Eastwood Eddy, who was eventually found nearby on Cypress Avenue. He was convicted Thursday of first degree murder with a deadly weapon enhancement. His sentencing date has not yet been set.
