A project on Interstate Five near Mount Shasta is one of 88 projects statewide that have just been approved to spend 328 Million Dollars. 64 Million Dollar of that will go into the “Southbound Dunsmuir Rehab”, which runs from a half mile south of North Mount Shasta to the Sacramento River Bridge. The roadway will be reconstructed with long-life continuously reinforced concrete pavement with a 40 year life expectancy. The project also includes 10 foot shoulders and overhead signs.
