Ransom Money Offered For Return Of Missing Woman

An anonymous benefactor is offering to pay ransom for a missing Mountain Gate woman. The last known sighting of 34-year-old Sherri Papini was at 2 O’clock on the afternoon of Wednesday November 2nd when she was seen jogging on Sunrise Drive. Her cell phone and other items were later found near the intersection of Sunrise and Old Oregon Trail. Her husband Keith passed a polygraph test. More than 400 tips have been received and investigators have checked bank records, e-mails, cell tower information, social media accounts, local sex offenders and other suspicious people, and more than 20 search warrants have been issued in the case, but no solid leads have been reported. A 50,000 Dollar reward is available, 10,000 of it through Secret Witness and 40,000 from Sherri’s family. The family has been frustrated by suggestions that Sherri may have left by choice. That’s clearly not an assumption shared by an anonymous person saying they’re willing to pay cash for the immediate release of Sherri. The person has set up a special e-mail address bringsherrihome@gmail.com and has hired an experienced negotiator to broker the deal through a disposable phone at 351-2748. The person says the negotiator will know if someone tries to scam them. The full letter can be seen on our Facebook page.
