A fire burned very early Friday morning off of Airport Road. Heavy winds brought down power lines and sparked the fire near Airport and Meadowview. Redding Firefighters with help from Cal-Fire got the fire out just about the same time the rain arrived in that area to douse it. The fire was contained at about 15 acres with no structural damage.
