The Shasta County Coroner’s Office has released the name of the man who died in a rollover crash in Happy Valley Monday night. 33-year-old Scott Esquivel of Hayfork was driving a 2001 Dodge pickup eastbound on Olinda Road just before 8 O’clock when he lost control just west of Peter Pan Gulch. The truck overturned and Esquivel was partially ejected and killed. The passenger, a 30-year-old woman from South Dakota, was able to climb out of the wreckage on her own. She had complaints of neck pain. The CHP says neither of them was wearing a seatbelt.
